Daniel Taub

Daniel Taub’s origins are from the United Kingdom where he was born in 1962. After finishing his high school education, he went to the University College in Oxford, University College in London, and after that the Harvard University. Mr. Taub later relocated to Israel in 1989 where he worked in various positions.

He first served in the Israel Defence Forces IDF as a combat medic and then worked under the IDF‘s international law division as a reserve officer. Again, Mr. Taub worked with President Chaim Herzog as a speechwriter before joining Israeli foreign ministry in 1991.

Furthermore, Daniel Taub held many positions in many legal and diplomatic posts. He became the Israeli ambassador to the United Kingdom from 2011 to 2015. What struck about the diplomat during his visit to the queen was his outfit which declared a statement to any given individual. He wore the morning tailcoat, striped trousers, and mirror-shined black shoes complimented with a Kippah which expressed his background of an Orthodox Jew.

Again, Mr. Taub had given up his citizenship as a Briton when he immigrated to Israel 30 years earlier.
